Unhappy Gt 2000 Fuel Tank

I have to take down the fuel tank to clean it. After to reinstall, my car does not start. It looks like engine does not receive gas. I already checked the fuel pump and it is ok. I use a genesis computer to check all commands, including anti theft system and everything is ok. Do you have any experience regarding this issue? Thanks in advance.

Did you take the pump out? If you did odds are you pinched one of the accordian looking lines above the bucket.

Does not start encompasses a lot of things. With what little you told us, we have to presume that the only thing you did was drop the tank and "clean" it. You need to give more info, and I do not mean to infer that you are a simpleton.

What type of cleaning did you do? Is there gas in the tank? Did you reinstall ALL the lines properly? Are all electrical connections in place? Does the engine crank, just not fire? Is the battery charged?

Betcha if your tank had crud in it, you've now got a clogged fuel filter, or tank siphon screen. Is the pickup unit fully, correctly installed, with a clean screen?
