Default Stalls, blows 20 amp fuse

My 98 gt has a problem where the car randomally blows the 20 amp fuse for fhe fule pump circuit, I can replace the fuse and drive it for a week or so without stalling, then it will act up again and maybe blow a fuse every 5 miles. Just wondering if anybody has exerienced this problem and what the solution was. Thanks

Check the fuel pump emergency cut off switch, its in the trunk drivers side, could have a bad contact and randomly melt the fuse.

Just a thought..Does this happen more when the fuel tank is closer to empty...as the fuel acts as a coolant for the pump... if so, this could be the fuel pump going bad and drawing more amps causing the fuse to blow...
