1) I remember someone mentioning that it is better to get a intake system of the style like steeda's, withouth the bend in from of the mass air flow meter....is this true or not?
2) if question one is false(lol- sounds like a test or something) then i plan to go with either a demolet or roush, both full cold air intake from the throttle body to the fender. I like those as opposed to the bbk or mac because im not a fan of chrome, especially since my engine bay area isnt dressed up and i dont want it to jump out at you when i pop the hood, that why i like the black piping on those systems. Also i can get the roush or demolet for about a $100 bucks less than the steeda...
Any suggestions help, and if there are other nice systems please let me know, im not looking for serious horsepower gains or anything like that, im just getting rid of the stock factory air box..

Chicane Sport Tuning is working on one of their "foxbox" type CAI's for our '04 GT's. Said they should have one designed soon. Straightest shot of cold air I've seen. $199.00 intro price and you can get the pipe in whatever color suites you. (might be extra) Check out their web site and if you're interested, give Joe a call. They may speed up the process if they know ther's an interest. Might also check out yhe Street Smart design. One of the easiest and cleanest looking setups I've seen.

DeMolet would be my advice. Do not over-oil air filter - this can result in oil deposits on mass air hot wire sensor and mess up your tune.
Had one for my 2003 pony and it was a good unit. Been thinking of getting one for my 2008 GT but haven't made up my mind yet. Anyone has a Volant on a newer Stang?
JLT makes the best CAI on the market for the mod motors.

Picked up a once popular now dinosaur Densecharger for my 99 SVT Cobra a couple months ago on Ebay for $40, I've got the filter in the down position and LUV it, when the tach hits 3 grand the beast comes to life~~
