Default converting auto to manual

what is needed to convert from auto to manual transmission from a mustang gt ? Will the dealership do it for you or you have to get it done somewhere else? and about how much will it cost to get it done? And also the computer is meant for the automatic transmission right? will the computer from the manual transmission do it instead getting a customized chip for the computer. Thanks

A lot of stuff, it's really not worth all the work unless you stumble across a manual transmission for less than $500 of so. The other stuff includes the clutch, flywheel, pedal assembly, computer and all that jazz. All totalled you're looking at about a $3500 job to pay someone to do using a transmission that you paid anywhere close to fair market price for.

How about this?

I am actually planing on purchasing this myself. It gives you that "control" of shifts like a manual would. I really do not understand it all too well, so if someone could shed some light on that product for both myself and roy...
