Can I use a 10.5 inch King Cobra clutch that I already bought with an 11 inch fly wheel? I'm thinking yes, but I need to know because I found out my car has a 8 bolt flywheel and I think all of them are 11 inch.

I would return the 10.5 inch clutch and get an 11 inch setup. I don't think it would be very wise to try and miz and match sizes.

Anybody?? OK.... does anybody else have a 2v 8 bolt crank? The 8th digit of your vin will ba an X if you do.

It seems like that piece would work, as long as it has the proper number of bolt holes.

From the reviews I have heard the King Cobra Clutch is by far
the worst clutch you can get.
Why not get a Centerforce DF clutch and be done with it
they are one of the best clutches you can get.
The Centerforce is more than double the money and I already bought the King Cobra. I've also heard good and bad reviews about the king cobra. But I don't plan on putting gobs of power to it so I should be OK. After the PI head swap I think I'll just drive it and look for another car to make fast. Hey Darkness what the 8th digit in your vin#?

Today after work I called the parts dept. at the Ford dealer and he confirmed that I do have a Windsor block with an 8 bolt crank. About which clutch.... people always say you can't go wrong with Ford parts so thats why I bought the m-7560-c302 heavy duty king cobra. It is a 10.5 inch clutch but some frpp flywheels will accept either a 10.5 or an 11. I think if my flywheel is toast I may just buy the Billet steel m-6375-g46. I want to race it one more time this Friday before I tear into it. So, Darkness or Jeer whats your 8th digit of your vin? I want to find how rare a non pi 8 bolt is.

If you know how to drive a car the stock clutch works great. I have a stock clutch on my 400rwhp cobra with no problems. And if you have never owned a certain type of clutch don't tell someone whether it is good or bad. So with that said, the King Cobra clutch is a good clutch, especially if you've ever used the Ford Racing HD clutch kit. The King Cobra has great pedal feel and grips well.
