I live close to Cleveland so I'm close to a Summit, and it's primarily where I go to get Parts. I Have 3.73's, (american thunder system)flowmaster cat-back, and a K&N air filter system. Soon to have BBK tuned shorty headers, and an X-Pipe w/ cats.
I want to put in a BBK Throttle Body, throttle body spacer, Mass Airflow sensor, underdrive pulleys, better injectors, and whatever is needed to make this project work. I am hoping someone will be able to offer some tips, and technical insight on my hopeful project.

welcome to the site.:thumbsup ...u have some pretty nice mods going and it only looks to be getting better....i would hold off on the MAF and injectors for now and instead of getting the TB Spacer, get a new intake plenum....BBK offers one that u can match to their 75mm TB......u also might want to check into getting a chip or a handheld programmer.....that will also allow u to change the transmission settings......good luck and keep us posted.....

Enorbit's right. Check on getting a combo deal. BBK has a nice looking upper intake plenum (bet they offer a combo tb/plenum at a discount). If I were buying fresh today, I'd look at John DeMolet's combo. It includes an ABS CAI, Dragon plenum and 75mm tb for about $499. I don't have a link offhand, but I believe you can buy these direct from him. He has posted his stats in one of the recent threads (actually, it was Larry Sergent's thread "Demolet CAI" I believe).
For my money, the new SCT tuners are best, although I own a Diablo Predator and have had good results with it. Look to spend about $350-400 (a bit less if you can get in with the group buy being negotiated over on www.mustangtuning.com in their forum).
I've shopped at mustangtuning quite a bit, and I find their pricing lower than Summit's and their customer service is at least as good - free shipping (over $50), too.
I agree with Enorbit about holding off on the MAF and injectors. Unless you're trying to pump out over 330hp naturally aspirated, the stock injectors are fine. DeMolet maintains that the stock MAF's on 2002 and later stangs need little help until you get REALLY seriously into the motor or start adding power-adders like superchargers, and I agree with him. Put that money somewhere else on the car (Steeda Tri-Ax (high quality) or MDB (shortest throw) shifter if you have a 5 speed would be my first choice).
Keep us up to date on your build. The advice on this forum flows like the Mississippi!
Just so we're spending your money, not ours!

Agree on holding off on MAF/Injectors - you don't need them yet. Also agree that money is well spent on plenum (the new BBK is nice looking) or complete CAI system. 3black meant this: http://www.demolet.com/ - John DeMolet (welcome to call him) has variety of choices from MAF forward filter setups to the complete plenum to filter ones, even painted to match the car and the Dragon plenum w/the Permastar coating. Larry should be installing his TB/plenum in the next few days if want to check w/him first. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ad.php?t=43762
If you have long term goals for more breathing (Ported heads?) I'd say wait until then for header choice. Header install (especially shorties) w/motor in car is PITA and worth little HP on mild N/A car. X-pipe still good idea (magnaflow, Dr. Gas, etc.) Also like the programmer idea as well as researching the "J-Mod" on the Corral.net forums, a transmission cooler as well as a 180 deg. thermostat. Totally synthetic fluids, front to rear, are worth some HP as well as reliablity. (and having the right air press. in your tires is worth MPG & HP too) Don't forget the regular maintenance stuff - fuel filter changes, condition of belts/hoses, brake pads, etc. If not going to puff the car in the future, the real horsepower is in CNC-ported heads and/or cams (VT or Comp Cams) Didn't see anything in your sig about suspension or brakes so might suggest you'd like the lowered look and improved handling from a spring set or perhaps the Bullitt suspension kit - probably about the same money as the shorties. There's also some real gains in handling/safety, etc from switching from the stock Goodyears (if that time is coming) to a better tire.
Sounds like you're having fun and approaching this methodically - find someplace to post some pics when you can. Enorbit & 3Black always have good advice!

Just saw my first BBK Intake plenum on a 00 GT - Very nice! I think I like its look better than the polished Accufab's - more old school.
Certainly a lot prettier than my C&L - but she works, know what I mean?
In case you haven't picked up on this yet, Meatball posts some of the best info on the forum.
Luck with the auto tranny - I didn't notice that was what you had at first. In light of the AOD, I'd seriously consider shuffling my parts priority to get a tuner toward the top of the list - just to reprogram the shift schedule. I'd look at addressing heat in the tranny too - a trans cooler and synthtic lube is a must in my book (I have a long history of toasting auto transmissions, though mainly in trucks).
You guys were all helpful! I am still a bit new to this site, and modifying cars. I just started learning what some of the main parts do. I'm 17, and I have been blessed with a girlfriend who has a dad who knows a lot of things about cars!:thumbsup( he owns a 1967 Mustang).
Meatball I saw you said something about the bullitt suspension, it sounds great, I'll look into it! I already have the Shorties, and the X-pipe. So I'll have to save some more money for them. Thanx for telling me to hold off on the MAF and injectors.
I might look into cams, I was told that they're another good mod to have. I was actually looking into chips, I was looking in a summit mag, and it had a hypertech, diablo, and jet chips, i was stuck on which one to choose.
Thanks, hope to hear from you all again! I am looking to have my car in the 12's by next summer, but that's always wishful thinking!
I'd also like to know about more on the Transmission thermostat, if I could

Reason: Found out whats a plenum, and what CAI stand for! lol
i think that u can get the bullit suspension from www.stangsuspension.com or www.50resto.com would also recommend checking out www.maximummotorsports.com as they make killer packaged deals.....i have a set of H&R Super Sports and the only prob i have had was having to get the C/C plates....i am looking to match my springs with either a set of Tokico or KYB non adjustable struts/shocks....wish i could afford a set of Bilsteins.....IMO, to maximize performance for dollar, get the packaged springs/shocks deal....Bilstein, Tokico, Eibach, Bullit kit are all pretty solid performers and have the packaged deals.....
As far as programmers and chips go, i got a Predator Programmer cuz it allows me to fine tune the tranny settings on the 4r70w....that pretty much was the selling point for me...it also adds more power.....u can also use it to adjust other settings like wheel size, gears, top speed, etc.... i also agree with Meatball about the tranny cooler(its my next mod)....well, thats all for now...later
