Default 1996 GT Specs Needed

Does anyone know where I can find the Specs on a 1996 GT rear axle. Size, T-loked or not, Gears ratio for a stock set-up. Also, What are the axle splines 28?,31?

It's a Ford 8.8 and all GTs are T loks. You can get gears ratios like 2.73,3.08,3.27 (which you have now),3.55,3.73,3.90,4.10,4.30,4.56,4.88,5.12. Ford Racing makes most of these. BTW they are 28 spline set up.

For fast acceleration you will want a higher number ratio, like 3.73 for example. This calculator is a great way to determine what gears will best suite your needs. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/608.shtml

I know how the gears work.

and I know it will mount up to a V6.
Only thing I dont know is what the stock gears are for a 96 GT Im guessing they are 3.55's
I own a mustang and Volvo performance shop (www.svr-racing.com) so Im looking for the tech info on the 96 GT for a parts car.
