I'm gonna get some BBK equal length shorty headers and I already have a UPR O/R X-pipe. But I want to know which cat back is loudest and has the meanest most viscious sound. I want it loud though. And I dont want to spend a ton on it either . So I was thinking between the Flowmaster American Thunder cat back or the SLP Loud Mouth kit. I also saw the Loud Mouth II kit, I dunno if its as good. But I need to know cause I need something in a hurry.

I have BBK equal length headers with an o/r x-pipe, Flowmaster American Thunder 2 chamber cat-back and I love the way it sounds. Because of the x-pipe though the sound is a little raspy compared to the h-pipe but other than that it sounds great and its loud.

Although you do have the 5.0 and I got the 4.6, that will make a little difference

I have a 02Gt with a BBK o/r xpipe with 40series original flowmasters, and thats the best sounding exhaust i think i have heard, not to sound cocky on my part, i had the xpipe before when i bought the car but i made the dealer installed some cats thinking they would cut a section out of the pipe and weld mufflers in the place of pipe, but no they just massacred my piping and didnt even put a stock Hpipe and made my car straigh pipes. How ever with this i did only have 2 cats instead of the 4 stock so i suppose that was better. but now if they ever redo emission inspections here in Florida i dont have to shell 1G for cats. I bought a BBK o/r xpipe new on ebay and put it on because i just so loved the sound it had before and i needed mroe upper end power than lower. both my set ups sounded good.
The catted straigh pipes were deep and poppy
my currect O/R xpipe is alot more metallic and medium toned and hi pitched toward upper end (even lowered inside sound at 60mph)
both set ups had 40 series flowmaster mufflers
