Hehehe my car started doing that the other day, but it's weird. I think mine just has alot of crap like oil residue in it because when the engines cold it doesn't like to idle but once its warm its fine. Lol it's funny because when its cold itll idle all low and try to stall but it makes it so you can hear the cams that I put in REALLY well. hawhawhaw

That's how the IAC went on me, it started to idle low or stall when cold and then one day it just wouldn't start. It was a tempermental thing, worked when it wanted to but I got tired of getting stranded so I changed it and no problems since.

Don't waste your time cleaning, as somebody else here mentioned it's
only a band-aid solution.

would this cause a problem in the lower rpms say from 1000-2500 range. my car runs fine from 2500-6000 but feels like **** going around a corner in 2nd gettin back in the throttle. i know i said fine from2500-6000 actually when is hits about 4000 it feels like it falls flat on its face but picks back up about 5000. anybody got an answer for that?

im not sure if thats the IAC or not, but I'm having the same problem idleing really low at a stop or when I put it from a gear to nuetral and throttle responce in lower rpm's are terrible! I'll try to clean that out with some carb cleaner tom. to see if thats the problem or not first if it is I'll replace it....but i dont know it could also be the MAF too because the other day my intake came apart when I accelarated in reverse (do to not tightining the bolts after cleaning filter) so it sucked in some unfiltered air...idk the MAF might be dirty. what do you guys think?

Id take the part off and do it, thats how i did it originally and let it dry for a few minutes. If that fixes the problem i would invest in a new one because otherwise u will have to keep cleaning it reguraly in order to avoid bad idling again.
