how to fix the speedo after 4.10's?

I have a 2002 GT and I put 4.10 gears in and of course as expected the speedo was off. Is the only way getting it fixed a SCT handheld tuner? and I already have a tune on the car and if I was to use the sct tuner would that effect my tune I already have?

You should be able to just change the axle ratio in your tune without affecting the rest of the tune. I don't know about the SCT, but on my Diablosport Trinity I can modify my custom tunes and change the gear ratio.

^ What he said.

I'm not personally familiar with SCT, but assuming that it's menu operates similar to Diablo you would just go to a menu option like Modify Parameters which will then bring up a list of things such as axle ratio where you can make changes as appropriate. Read through the owners manual on the device (download one from the manufacturer site if it's missing), it should walk you through this. If you can't figure it out and you originally bought the AM/Bama tuner deal then just contact them and they can get you set up.

If you have a tuner you have what you need to recalibrate for the gears and do not want to try to use a second tuner to do so. Should be as simple as reinstalling the same tune and adjusting end user parameters. Make sure you only adjust the gear ratio, playing with fuel and spark trims can make things go boom, more so with a supercharger.

I have a Bama tuner and you can adjust your speedo to whatever gear you have. I believe it will even adjust to your tire size also
