Default Base Dyno Run

Ok, got my car (FINALLY) on the dyno at Performance Autosport. Had them install a tune from the SCT XcalII, and it made driving the car an absolute blast!! It's like driving a completely different car!!
As far as the numbers go, I was a little surprised, it was like "That's ALL???" I got a peak hp of 214.85 and 236.04 for torque. The car is all stock, 62K on it and it is an auto. What can I reasonably expect to get if I do not go with any forced induction and use just bolt on parts? I don't want to go swapping heads out, either. I just need more HP!!

Oh, and there any cat back systems that don't drone and still sound good? I don't want to be deaf with the top down.

Peak torque of only 236 , that seems to be WAY OFF, maybe the Dyno was off ! I think you torque should be around 260 maybe a little more !

i got a good amount of bolt on's and i did 251hp and 293 tq to the wheels. your dyno might be off your your car was in a pissy mood that day.

stock hp to wheels ranges from 220-230 hp and 255-270tq from what i have heard and seen.

That's not too far off for a torque number, assuming 305 ft-lbs at the flywheel. Is the Xcall II the only mod on the car?

Remember this is only a number. How does it do against other stangs?

Ooops. How about 254.61 for torque? Helps if you read the right number !! Another issue we had it that I installed a UPR billet shift knob and AODE o/d relocation switch, and the o/d switch wasn't working, so the tranny kept going into over drive. It's been about a 7 months and I still can't figure out how to get the switch to work. Posted that here way back, and nobody had an answer.
The car is in completely stock trim with the exception of a K&n filter which won't make that much difference, if any. Unfortunately, we put the tune on it after the dyno run and I had to go, so we didn't get to run it with the XcalII helping out. The ride home was great with the tune though! I've been trying to get the tank on E so I can put some 93 in there and try out that tune!
I am planning to dyno the car after every upgrade so I can have a complete history of the increases (God I hope they're all increases!!). My next project is the exhaust, I'll post the numbers when I get them.

those #'s are about dead on for a auto. In stock form, and X-cal won't do much. All they could do was lean the car out a little, and add some timing. (5-7hp).

Keep in mind that with an auto you always have some slip across the torque converter, no matter how good of a TC you get.
That slip is what makes your car dyno a little lower than a MT stang.
You now take your 214 and add about 10-15HP for the auto, and you end up right where most manual transmission stangs are. 220HP - 230HP.
