Finally got the dyno tune.

So I finally got the dyno tune done today at Swanson Performance and must say I am very pleased with the tune. I dynoed at 258 HP and 288 TQ. This is with an auto. On saturday i was only making 244 HP and 282 TQ. The hp/tq gain wasn't all that made me happy but Danny Swanson also tweaked my computer and adjusted all my shift points and shift firmness. He did it beyond the capabilities of normal hand tuners. Going to the track tomorrow morning if the weather permits and well see what I run.

The cost was $380 for the chip and 150 an hour for the dyno tune. There are cheaper places out ther but this guys the best in Cali from what I heard. His website is www.swansonperformance.com

I am in Tampa, Florida, there are a few places you can take it to for those type prices...

I know you guy aren't from Cali but he can still make a great tune for you guys. Although your car wont be there for him to dyno tune (unless you bring it of course) he can still make tunes based on the mods of your vehicle except if it supercharged. He loaded his own tune into my car and ran it on the dyno and the numbers were just a few under the final pull. Hes been tuning cars for over ten years and knows his stuff. I had the Superchips tune like xxkazp3rxx and dyno'd at only 244hp and 279tq. If you call him and tell him what bolt ons you have he'll send you a chip or tuner with the tune in it.

That's surprising... I have never seen an actual chip out dyno the handheld tuners... my eyes have always shown it backwards... but im glad to hear you're getting that much out of your mods and your chip!
