Default Just a couple of questions

Hello I just put some new 275/40-17's on my 98 GT and I am wanting the wheel moved out a little what size spacers is everyone using? Also I think I need new struts where is the best place to get them? And lastly I am wanting a little stiffer rear spring and maybe a lower front spring what are my options?
Thanks
Kris

Cool

Kris,
Spacers ... Hubcentric, settle for nothing else. I ran 1" in the rear for 6 years on my 98. Anything wider .. I'd measure to ensure proper clearance.

Struts/SPRINGs .. I'm a suspension pkg guy myself, I'd look at Bilstein, Tokico or FRPP's and Eibach or HR offerings for a firmer/sportier ride.
Where? There are a lot of places to order from, online or parts stores. It would really depend on what you prefer. STEEDA's stuff has been good in the past and for your MY proven.
Kinda like asking which do you prefer BLONDE, BRUNETTE or REDHEAD? ... Opinions will vary.

There are cheaper and more inexpensive products too. If you have an opprotunity to ride in a modified mustang and like the feel ... check out their set-up. Great way to baseline expectations.

The prob is I live where it is winter 6 months of the year and rear wheel drive cars get a bad rap! Not many sport tuned cars around here especialy Stangs. My dad has an 05 GT but other that that the pickins are slim so it is going to be a test and try thing for me I think. After this I want a CAI and TB PLM package any sugjestions? Also some 4.10's out back it has the 3.27's now and I am getting a consistant 33 MPG how bad would the gears knock this down? But anyway thanks for the info
OH ya how is Ford racing stuff does it compare to the others?

www.maximummotorsport.com for suspension parts. They have by far and wide the best quality for the money.
