It really depends on the mods you have. If you have a lot of stuff done, yo might as well spend a couple hundred more bucks to make sure you are getting enuogh fuel.

The C&L upgrade to the stock '99 - '01 is 80mm Where the upgrade to the '02 is the 85mm since ford already supplies the 80mm in the '02 model with the MAF mods we see in the how to's area of the sites.

I would suggest talking with the folks at C&L performance to see if the 85mm would be ok since the 02 stock is 80mm.

Another question would be. What future mods are you concidering. I've seen where folks have placed the lightnings MAF if they went s/c. So, future mods woill be an issue. Especially in the $ area. You don't want to repurchase anything down the road due to incompatability. IMO

The 80mm mass air has been stock on All 4.6 Stangs. C&L will supply you with the correct sampling tube to match your stock 19lb injectors.Unless you have added a Supercharger or increased the cubes with a stroker kit your 19lb injectors should be fine. Later on if you add the supercharger you just order the correct sampling tube for the meter to match your new injector size...
