Default Removing spark plugs

What is the best way to remove the spark plugs from a 4.6 Liter DOHC cobra engine? They are deep into the heads.

you need a ratchet extension and spark plug socket, thats about it.
And of course, remove the covers first.

Like GTRaptor said, spark plug socket and extension for ratchet, also, it is best to let the engine completely cool off before taking out the plugs. I have seen people damage the spark plug threads in aluminum heads by pulling the plugs when the heads were still hot. When you put the plugs in, be sure to use a little anti-sieze compound on the plug threads, it will pay off next time you take the plugs out.

Im sure there is a recommended period, I do it every 7 or 8 oil changes, so about every 20-25000 miles... I have seen plugs stay good for over 100,000 though. But if your gas miliage drops off, or it starts hard, or misses, that could help all of that (especially mpg)
