Default Q's for Jeffs01

Hey, I noticed that you run the new edlebrock dry system on your 01. Have you had any problems or tuning issues with this setup?? Any problems with the A/F ratio?? The reason I ask is I have a 00 GT that I am contemplating puting a system on and can't decide between the new Nozzle system or one of the new Dry kits that have recently came on the market. I really dont plan on ever running more than 75-125 shot so I hate to spend the extra cash on the nozzle system if I am not goin to use it to its full potential. Any info would be appreciated..

Sorry it took so long to reply. I havent had any problems to date with the system. I have changed out plugs and have also installed Mac Prochambers. I can tell it is running rich just by the smell but have not had it checked out by a meter or guage. I am in the process of building the car and dont plan on having a chip burnt until I am done with the engine. I went with the Edelbrock system because of the safety features and price ($646 vs the $1500 for nozzle). Plus i have no intentions of going over a 100 shot in the near future.

Thanks, I had forgotten about this post. I have been trying to find out as much info as I can on the 99-03 dry systems but just can't seem to find much, so every little bit helps. I am just a little leary about the injection thru the Maf. I have seen the fuel curves at the dyno on my car and other 99+ cars and they run really rich as it is from the factory so maybe I am just overly concerned and the sytem is capable of handling 100hp or less shot......

The jet for the nitrous is near the bend in the intake tube. It doesnt get shot through the MAF only the throttle body. There is WOT switch and a fuel pressure safety switch for safety. It also includes an MSD Fuel Pump Voltage Booster.

WOW, Thats similar to the 96-98 dry kit. I thought they all sprayed through the maf and thats how it added the xtra fuel..Is the pump booster hard to install?? What is the max shot they recomend on the Edlebrock system??

Installing the Fuel Pump Booster is not hard to install, it is just time consuming for a novice like me. As far as the max shot, you would have to call edelbrock tech line. They were very helpful and courteous when i used them.
