You can find them at www.mustangtuning.com, they have them for mustangs from 76 - 06 GT and Cobras. Just go to the drivetrain section and you'll find them. They are made by Motive Performance Plus.

2002 GT 4.6L 5 speed, Laser red, Accufab T/B, and Plenum (75mm), Ford Racing 4.10 Gears, Aluminum Drive shaft, Steeda CAI, DiabloSport predator tuner. Tri-Ax shifter, MAC H pipe (catless), and Steeda catback exhaust. BFG Drag Radials 275-40-17
Comp. springs (lowered about 1.5"), adjustable UC arms, Adjustable LC arms, all from Steeda. CC plates (4 bolt) also from Steeda. Full welded Sub-Frame connectors.

And now a car seat in back... WTF

Mr. Force, can I thrash your car for a day?

motive's....i would suggest picking either 373 or 410 ford racing honestly because motive's are notorious for whinning and breaking....and before some ***** says "But mine never did! " i didn't say they ALL do but they are 100x more prone to doing it than ford racing and it's safer just to pay the extra $10 for ford racing

this would be a good read http://www.jpispace.com/mw_faq/gears.htm

edit: just saw the nitrous bottle in your avatar...if it's a 100 shot 3.73's are probably about what you want

Motives, I got mine at brenspeed.com, they also have them at Mustangtuning.com (if you get them at Mustangtuning use the coupon MUSTANGBOARDS) save you 6%. Motives do NOT have a rep for whining. That's the people that install them. Gears whine if the installer doesn't do a great job on them. All gears will whine if not installed properly. I have 3.90's, and I love them. I know Carguy on here had a set of motive 3.73's and they gave him trouble and eventually broke - so far so good with mine (crossing my fingers), haha.

yes, i had motive 373s, i had them for 4 months 4Kmiles. i was driving and the damn gears snapped, 2 teeth off the pinion were stuck in the ring.

They said it was part fauliure, my fords are now really good. if u are want more that 373s get frpp 410s, i know thats probably more than u want but i rather get more than have to pay for gears 2x like i had to.

thats just my 2cents.

I in no way impied that the Motives were good gears, he was looking for 3.90 gears, and that was the only place I knew of that had them. I always go with Ford racing gears. I don't know why he needed the 3.90 gears, but that's his call.

FUD alert.

Actually Motive's are notorious for being more difficult to install. Why that is I don't know, but I haven't heard anyone except Carguy who had a problem with properly installed Motive gears. I have heard some people say that their Motive's whined and then broke. Well, duh. Whining = improper install. 'Course I've heard the same about FRPP and Richmond.
ANY gears can break, Motive's, Richmond, and even (gasp) FRPP.

Motive and FRPP are the 2 with the best rep from what I've heard. Richmond is still a good gear but for some reason more people pick FRPP and Motive. I would say 3.90 is a bit on the steep side for N2O also, but it's your car. Go with what you feel is right for you and how you drive the car.
