I just blew piston #1 looking to put a 2002 avatar looking to find out if lincoln avatar 32v is the same as the 2001 cobra engines and could I switch out the intake and put on the cobra intake and wiring. Would the cobra computer work.

get the 5.4l navigator 4v if you're going to do an engine swap

No, it is not the same. THe aviator comes with 03/04 cobra heads (much more efficient than your C heads). The cobra intake will bolt right up to it.

Get the engine, it has better heads than your old engine and you can part your old one out.
