Electric Supercharger. Would it work on 2002 Mustang GT?
OK guys I know you probably think this dude is dumb but I really dont know much about the superchargers and or Turbos so here is a link just wanting to know if that would work and what else i would need to finish it off.
2002 Mustang GT 5 speed manual, Black with black cobra rims. Riding on Riken Raptor ZR :Rear 275/40ZR17's, Front 245/45ZR17's, Grill delete kit and a pair of Flowtech Red Hots mufflers.

The blower in the first link is for the 5.0L GT engines. Just because it says good for 3.0-5.0 engines doesn't include the 4.6L. The 4.6L Mod Motor is a completely different engine than the 5.0 and nothing carries over, except maybe a sensor here and there. The stuff in the second link is nothing but pure, unadulterated trash. Stay away from it because it's all a waste of money.

An electric motor could never create 3 psi as the snake oil vendor states. I can't believe all the people in his feedback that state they feel great gains. Man some people really need to finish highschool.

2002 GT Almost Stock, except for some pimping, and love.
LOL!!!! My gas powered Echo Leafe-blower would do you a lot better.................Plus you could claim your now in a hybred and get more of a tax return...............lol!
Seriously.....all those products are crap............
I cant believe so many people keep asking about this. The electric blower motors *MIGHT* work for a lawn mower, but they cant supply the CFM requirements to feed a real engine.
Interesting statistics these sellers provide.
Their Claim: The things I would like to know to back it up
3PSI boost: What RPM? What engine Displacement?
Faster in the quarter mile: On what? A riding lawnmower?
More HP on the Dyno: At what RPM & Displacement?
Etc: ETC
Funny TK421DS - I was thinking the same thing about the leaf blower.
The only reason they can't get sued, is that they only really claim CFM. The hairdryers they use cannot FORCE air into a ICE chamber.
It's a crock. The motor on an electric blower would need several horsepower to have forced induction, many more than the size of that "blower" would allow.

Well would it possible give 20-30 rwhp gains? for the price even that would be really nice I would think. Plus less wear and tear on the stock parts. I would like to hear from some of you that have it or had it at one time to get a true idea of what they give and not just others opinions...dont get me wrong I appreciate the opinions and will take them into consideration also.
Thanks,
Preston

It will not give you 20-30 HP gains. This topic has been beaten to death. Use the search feature....
However, you might could hook it up to a blow-up doll and get some use out of it.....

Dude you'd be better off hooking a compressed air cylinder to the damn intake if you're that desperate for some kind of boost. Any gains that you would have seen with those contraptions would be immediately lost to the extra parasitic drag on the alternator. Then you're left with the same amount of power and more wear and tear on your internals from the tiny bit of boost you were getting.
