Default What can I expect to turn in the 1/4 with these mods?

I know it is hard to tell how fast a car will go in the 1/4 mile because of drivers and traction etc. I am wondering about what time I can expect from my car. I don't even know what a stock 2001 GT turned for sure, but it looks like about 14.5 - 14.3 1/4 mile time. My car is:
  • 2001 Mustang GT 35,000 miles on it, the car is mint and like new.
  • 5 speed tranny
  • 17 inch bullet wheels with street tires
  • K&N Cold Air Intake full kit with filter and intake
  • 3.73 rear gears
I know it is a hard question butthe nearest race track is 2 hours away and it doesn't look like I wil lbe taking a trip there soon.

I'd say 13.6-13.8 if you can drive it.

Wow that would be better than I expected. I am going to look for a GTECH on ebay or borrow a friend of mines to play with Launch RPM and wheel spin and shift points before taking the 2 hour drive to the track. I didn't think it would go that fast. What are they stock?

It's rare that you see a stock Stangs break the 13's, but there are a few. There are a few on this site that run low 14's.

With those mods, I'd say you'll run just above stock times. (Due to the 3.73's)
