Default Mas Wire Extension

Sorry to take up thread space with this question. i am relocating my MAS to the front of my power pipe and my MAS wires wont reach. If i could get a nice clean extension piece that would be ideal . I would rather not start cutting up all the wires. I have looked everywhere on the net and cant find one. If anyone knows where to get this item i would appreciate it , thanks.

What MAF are you using? The MAF.ia that I have makes for plenty of room, but it's also $150. Your better off splicing into it yourself, just be sure to solder the connections and cover them with heat shrink wrap.

What are the pros and cons of draw through vs. blow thru. My setup is with my S/C is blow-through.

Alot of it depends on your programing. The draw thru 'apparently' is more accurate then blow thru . Blow thru causes the meter to peg more. I haven't had this problem and have done lots of data logging. Then again i also paid 340 dollars for a ba2400 by sct that was supposed to correct pegging. I just figured if i was gonna redo my set up may aswell go with the best case scenario's. The only draw back of draw thru is the sensor is closer to the blow valve that runs into the power pipe. i may correct this by venting to the atmosphere .

I haven't considered switching yet. My tuner can tune it either way, so until they tell me I should change, I'll keep it how it is.

You cannot vent to atmosphere on a draw thru setup as you will be losing metered air. You do however want your bypass blowing back in as far away as possible from the MAF to avoid backwash. Have you got your car to the dyno yet?

lol what a retard , yes your right. I have been thinking of doing it either way , and in blow thru i could vent , not draw thru. The dyno we have here in town is operated by retards. About the only thing i could hope to see from a run would be horse power. I bought an AEM wideband meter that i'll install once i have my new 3 guage pilliar mount .Also I would like to figure out my spark issue before i do the dyno run.
