Default Auto trans. not shifting right.

I think I have a problem. I have a 2003 gt w/ auto trans. It doesn't feel like the trans. is shifting right. Im not sure if its from the offraod x-pipe or what. It feels like im loosing pressure on the gas pedal whenever the car shifts gears. Whenever the car shifts gears its a jerking motion. I dont know if I should take it to the dealer because i dont have any cats and they might try to say that it is coming from that. Can they void your engine warranty for taking of your cats or just the exhaust warranty? If taking off the cats justs void the exhaust I will take it to the dealer b/c it is still under warranty.

How many miles? it might be in order to change the trans fluid and filter.

I think you should take it to the dealer, removing the cats wont void the trans warranty but dealers can be a real PITA.

First put synthetic Mobil 1 ATF in there with a new filter. If that doens't fix it, goto a mechanic.

yeah, changing exhaust components should have no effect on the shifting of the trans.

have you checked your fluid level, make sure the engine is running in neutral when you do it. there is a cold engine fill line and a hot engine fill line, make sure you are looking at the right line, if your fluid levelis low the tranny can act like that.
