MAC L/T's and Valve Seals

Hello all, this is my first post and just wanted to say this forum is awesome. OK now to my post. I went into a local parts shop to look at prices for mac l/t's for my 04 GT. The guy told me that they are good headers but are known to suck out the stock valve seals. Has anyone with the MAC headers encounterd this probem?

That is the first time i hear such an assumption.
Maybe the stupid guy meant that they DONT SEAL RIGHT between the heads and the headers, that i can beleive.

Anyway, i have ceramic coated BBKs, and they are GREAT, seal great, and the coating is as new.

Well, did some research, and the shop guy is not stupid, it has happened, but seems like the cause has been metal particles left inside the headers, those get sucked in and can ruin the seals.

So the problem is quality control.

Anyway...my BBKs came 100% clean from the shop.
