if i could afford it i would definately go the KB route, but since i cant, im gonna go with the procharger. Procharger makes a lot of power,cold intake charge and self contained oiling. A whipple would also be nice! as far as horsepower, your looking at a 50-85% increase depending on setup and tune.

Def. go with a KB if you have sufficient funds. Just make sure you don't push it over 450 rwhp because the stock gt block will not take it.

Kennebell will have great torque all the time, and is more fun to drive around town. procharger will make more power at the higher rpms. more of a track blower....... definately both great make good kits for ours cars. Ask Bluestreak he had a KB and ask funkyboss he has a procharger.
I would go with KB if i could afford it, but i wouldnt say no to procharger. (remember i love messing with people around town and lights so a nice twin screw s/c will do trick)
KB = NASTY Blower WHINE...........drool

Yeah man, you can look in my gallery and see the dyno graph from the tune session for the blower. Big Block power and still get 22 mpg on the highway, as long as you can keep your foot out of the boost range. It's expensive no doubt, but worth every dime in my book. The whine isn't bad at all at idle and light throttle, sounds like a power steering pump going bad. Once you stomp on it, it's more like a rip than a whine...it's unbelievable.
Here's a link to a video I made of it one day when I got bored.

I agree KB is awesome if you have the bucks. When I put mine in, I wanted performance, but at a price I could afford. For $3k delivered, I go the Procharger P-1SC 2 Core Innercooler and all parts needed to get my ride up and running. Wow, what a difference. My ride stock was a pooch, this woke it up and made the car somewhat respectable.

I'll have to scan my dyno sheet in. The torque curve isn't nearly as impressive as blue's, but still fun none-the-less. The Procharger whistles at idle and gets louder with light throttle, but gets drown out by the exhaust when you get up in the rpms (atleast from inside the car). Once you ditch the stock inlet and get a powerpipe, you can really hear the air being sucked in at WOT. I'm happy with mine but still curious as to how a KB Mustang compares.
thanks for the input guys, i am going to iraq for the second time, in october, i think i am gonna go with the KB when i get back after a year in the desert, i seen that KB went from the 1.7 to the 2.1, has anyone experienced the difference between the two?
Finding someone with that experience will be very difficult right now. They came out with that new line no more than 2 months ago so there aren't a whole lot of them on the street.
Keep your head down and be careful out there. Good luck and thanks for the service.

Funkyboss, How much more power did you get when you switched from the Stock Procharger inlet pipe to the power pipe?? I still have the stock inlet pipe. I'll admit, it doesn't look very nice, but does the Power Pipe make a significant difference. If it does, how much was the cost?

He picked up a good deal of power, plus he was actually seeing the proper amount of boost.

culleab, where do you get most of your work done? i was thinking about getting dallas mustang to work on my car, do you have any experience with them? where are you from in the dallas area? i am originally from greenville,tx about 30 min east on I-30
I say if you can afford it go with the KB. But what are your future plans for the car if you are wanting forged internals later on and 500 plus rwhp. A p-1sc will not get you their you should go with a D-1sc. Some twin turbos would always be nice and with them you get a lot of stuff with the kits, everything you need.

There was definetly an increase in the SOTP meter, however, I was still having issues with my bypass valve. Now that I have everything worked out and retuned, I made 46 rwhp and 42 lbs-ft. more with the powerpipe and smaller pulley. I paid about $120 for supplies and filter to make mine, but there are a few companies out there that sell them for around $250.
