Driver Seat movement

MY drivers seat moves back and forth about 1/8" while driving. Anybody ever had this problem, just wondering if there is a TSB or something out there about it or do I need a new seat track?

the base of my seat almost feels sometimes like if i try to rock it like a rocking chair you can hear it click..... dunno

mine too thats why i was asking bottom or back, i also did that free mod drilling out the rivet to make my mustang a good nap car dunno if that made it worse , don't really care though either, haha

The bottom of the seat, in otherwords the whole seat moves

Try tightening the nuts that hold the base of the seat to the floorpan. They can work loose after a while.

any solutions to this? mine does the same thing, but its been going on for awhile, so i have given up on this as normal. if its not i would love to know so i can fix it

My Mach1 has about 1/8" of fore and aft movement in the driver's seat, I don't know if the passenger seat does it or not. It has done this since new, and now has about 41,000 miles. It has not gotten any looser since new, so I just accept this movement as normal. It is aggravating, though.
