 weld prostars 15 by 5 inch 97 mustang gt
weld prostars 15 by 5 inch with 3 1/2 backspacing for my 97 mustang gt i was told to use 1/4 spacer and do some grinding of brake caliper bracket or (grind edge of caliper) is this right? because i here diferent thins from different people regarding size spacers are being used for same front wheels, i'm talking about my stock not lowered 97 gt, i heard some other guy on this forum using a 3/8 spacer for his 95 gt with for same size weld wheels.?? also if i use the 1/4 spacer if correct can i use stock lugs and studs??
also what street performance tire (not drag slicks 0r E.T. streets)can i run with that wheel, so far i heard by 95 gt guy 205/70/15 (front)
the rears i want weld prostars 15by10 6.5inch bs with 295/50/15 again street performance tire eg goodyear eagle bf goodrich still using stock lugs and studs??
also does anyone know the stock wheel backspacing for my 97 gt? all i know is that my stock wheels are 17 by 8 rims with 245/45/17 tires. thanks simon |
