Hey guys, for xmas im gettin the diablo tuner. I only have a borla cat back, magnaflow catted x, k&n gen. II intake, 4.10's and not that it matters but a pro 5.0short throw. I want the tuner because im tired of my speedo being way off. When summer rolls around and im home working and not in college ill be able to buy a new TB, plenum, and cams. Anyways I was just curious if the tuner is gonna do more then just fix the speedo. Basically do you think I will even feel a difference in performance. Im not spending my money on a dyno tune until after I have the TB, plenum, and cams istalled and by then im sure the tuner will be worth it. So what do you think? Anyone with experience with this tuner and a similar set up?

seeeeee I told you, that thing looks AMAZING huh? I wonder if you can get more hp running a custom tune than the 17rwhp gain from one of the preloaded tunes?
Also I have never had experience with a tuner, how do they load tunes into the computer and how long does it take? Is it as easy that I can put it in fuel eco tune for the 60 mile drive to the closest track and then when i get there can i load a different tune-race the car and then go back to fuel eco for the drive back? sounds stupid but im just curious is it that flexible or is it bad to do that so often?
Yea i think it actually is that easy. It will be very nice for me to put it in fuel economy mode when I have to drive 4.5 hours down the highway to school with my 4.10s!!! I never have had experience myself with one so if im wrong hopefully someone can correct me. Its also possible to plug in a laptop to it and get all sorts of nice graphs and print outs. And yea...you should definitely get more out of a custom dyno tune then the tune that comes on it. I am def waiting for this thing to come out tho.

yeah youll like the better throttle response the tb/plenum give u but i you want more power for less $$$ then get pullies is you dont ahve them yet, they are a cheaper mod and worth it, just get steeda ones, they have good ones
yea ive looked into it, and if i were to do it i would get steeda, but i dunno if i want to slow down my accesories or have my headlights flickering...what was your experience with them?
