Default Weird valve cover problem. Please help.

Hello everyone I'm having a weird issue.

The other day I went to a local dismantling yard and bought 2 PI cylinderheads to put on my new engine that I'm building. They said that they were off of a 01 mustang GT. My problem is, that when I went to buy some of the BBK valve covers for my engine, I noticed that there are only 9 bolt holes on each head for the valve cover bolts. I have looked around and no body seems to know of a 9 bolt valve cover. Could these be off of a cougar or something. Also, The only reason this is an issue is that I don't have the stock valve covers either so I'm kind of stuck. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Default Valve covers

Thats because the front 2 bolts of the valve cover go into the front timing chain cover making them 11 bolt valve covers, good luck.

what? you shouldnt have to touch the location of the oil filter for a head swap. the filter bung is on the drivers side bolted to the block. unless you are running an oil cooler and auxillary lines. or the MM filter relocator.

ixarlo, i think he meant where you put the oil in thru. on the valve cover. and to answer his question, no, it doesnt matter.

hahaha good call, reivaxtorres, i misread it.

however i think there is a hole in one valve cover for the pcv, and the filler is on the other one. i think the filler goes on the passenger side and the pcv is on the other side.

true, dont know if the pcv valve has to go on the opposite side(dont think so because the 99+ have the pcv and oil-fill on the passanger side, if i remember right, havent seen one of those in a while), but i think i know which valve covers hes talking about, i think he wants to get the BBK ones, and im pretty sure those have the pcv hole in them too, not sure if they move it, but you have a choice passanger or drivers side oil fill
