Question 1998 Mustang Alarm & Battery Light going off frequently?

Hi All,
Am very new to this forum and also new with this car

Bought a used 98 Mustang GT recently - its a wonderful machine - Couldnt get a user manual for it

I am sorry if am asking these questions out of ignorance -

Once the alarm went off just after 3 days i got the car and nothing striked me to swtich it off - so i lifted the hood and disconnected the battery to turn the alarm off -

Now the problem started as the battery node is already lil loose it started popping off and and the battery light turns on in the panel at the wheel - and i fixed the battery node -

But still the problem recurrs like the battery light comes on frequently and i check whether the problem is with node - and it is all fine - what should be the possible problem -

the second thing is like - How do i disarm the alarm instead of my way of lifting the hood , it doesnt have remote lock to lock and unlock

i believe there must be hidden switch somwhere in my car - can you all please help me in finding it - am a little hog to search it

and one more problem it has - Like when i turn on the Hazard lights - only the right side blinkers are turning on but not all the 4

Thanks and waiting for the reply

when the battery light comes on when you are driving, its usually a sign that your alternator is going bad. it also could just be a bad battery. as for the alarm, if its a factory ford (pats/ Blinking "theft" light on dash) then when the alarm is goin off, try putting the key in the ignition and turning it to run. if that doesnt work, get up under the dash and look for an aftermarket alarm module tied up there somewhere. if it has an "armed" led, try pushing that with the key on, or under the dash there should be a black small push button mounted kind of hidden. push that and the alarm should turn off.
