Well, needless to say, what I feared has happened. I have a 1997 Black Cobra Coupe with a BBK hi-flo h-pipe with CATs and a Flowmaster American Thunder system. I was driving my car today and wondered why the system sounded unusually loud. Upon inspecting my exhaust system, I noticed a hole the size of a golf ball in my right muffler. I only had the system on for 2.5 years and i have a hole in my muffler already. However, the sound made up for its lack of quality. It sounded REALLY bada$$. Anyway, I was wondering where to go next. Borla offers a system with the XR-1 race mufflers for the 97 Cobra. Should I get that, go back to Flowmasters system, or go with something different? If I do get the Borla, will it sound too loud with the hi-flo CATs to the point where I get pulled over? I really can't afford another ticket for something pointless. Just tell me where you think I should go next. Thanks.
Dan
