Default "service engine soon" light

I have a 2001 Mustang GT.My "service engine soon" light keeps coming on ever since I had the new cats and h- pipe put on. The sensors don't get along. Does anyone know a practical fix? I had the sensor turned off but I am pretty sure it will come on again.

Do you know the code for why the service engine soon light is on. It could be that you will need Mil eliminators (malfunction indicator lamp) to cure the light situation. I've come across the manufacture for these before but seem to have misplaced the info. I am sure someone out there has the answer but I will keep looking in the mean time. Frank.

I had that same problem i have non cated xpipe on my 99gt and the light was on. i had a programer that told me that it was bank1 #1, bank1 #2, bank2 #1, and bank2 #2 all that is it the o2 sensors. but i had a wire melted b/c it was too close to the x pipe and it flatlined all 4 of them and robed serious power i had it dynoed like that and it only put down 198rwhp and 230tq!!! i took it to ford and they changed that wire and turned off the back 2 sensors and the light went off and i dynoed it again and put down 242rwhp and 273tq!! so i would have that checked out!!!!
