nitrous will not be any more harmful to your engine than a blower will.
The rules of nitrous
1.) Don't cheap out
2.) Dont listen to the claims that companies make about how much safer there product is. They are all the same concept
3.) Kits made for certain cars are the easiest way to begin
4.) You will need to buy other stuff that is not in every kit
most kits do not come with
- window switch ( 50-100$)
- fuel pressure safety switch 30-35 psi (25-45$)
- wide open throttle switch
- heater (50-200)
5.)A Wet shot is the most practical for efi cars because you DO NOT have to get a tune.
You will end up spending anywhere from $600-1000 for the safest system that is practical.

Well who cares if someone brings up an old thread. A window switch is a unit that will turn on/off the nitrous at what ever rpm you set them at. Hince the name a window between two number 3000-6000 rpm turn on at 3k turn off at 6k. It is also good to use a WOT "wide open throttle" switch.

I'm about to put the zex wet nitrous kit and was wondering about if its safe to run it on my basically stock 96 GT with a tuner and other bolt ons through 5th gear? as in running (racing) on the highway. thanks also i was wondering how you go about mounting the tank in the trunk. from my view it looks like you have to remove the gas tank to get enough clearance to put the nuts on the bolts for the nitrous mount.
