Default Where do I go from here with my 2004 Mustang GT ?

Ok...i have an 04 GT 5speed and right now i have on it
CAI, Programmer and Exhaust with basanni x-pipe...

where do i go from here?

right now i have about 500 cash...and i was thinking about dropping 3.73s in it..i have heard all kinds of posative things from them but right now my car does 110 in 3rd gear before the revlimiter kicks in...the other night riding with my cousin who drives an 02 GT with 3.73s could only hit 70...i was like whoa?...

im still pretty set on getting the gears...but where could i go from here?...i dont want to go way too expensive before i can finally get the car paid off but i want more...

any help??

I just put 4.10's in my ride and they're incredible. You'll find that they're a huge deal. You've also already got the programmer so you can just switch your gear ratio in that to adjust your speedo which is a huge benefit. The speedcal box is 100 dollars and that just makes it that much more expensive. But I just got the gears, install kit, and a quality installation by a shop for 500. I went with the motive gears. They're pretty nice. I'd recommend FRPP if you want to avoid all the whining issues people are having. Nobody says anything bad about the FRPP and some people don't like Motive. Mine are fine though. Quiet! So let me know what ya think. The 4.10's, then get some bigger rims/stickier tires in the back and you'll fly. Let me know.

Brakes are always good. What about saving the money for a blower?

That's not possible, I trapped at 89 mph in 3rd gear, 1/8th mile. That was with 4.10's at about 6k rpms. Do the gears, you won't regret it! I've already expressed my opinion on brakes, so I won't go there .

Again...EBAY! check it out. Ive seen entire kits go for less than 3k. Used, but still in goood shape. I have seen 03-04 cobra engines go for 5k. Its always worth checking it out.

WERD. Cobra brakes are very good parts. The rears will require pulling the axles though to install.

A JMS vortech velocity kit will run you $3700. It is a complete kit and I have seen people who run it and the mongoose kit from MPH. They usually run around 380rwhp. It would be best if you just set down and think of where you want to be with your car in the future. Look at how long it would take to save up $3700. You could get some gears, work on your suspension and brakes. Then maybe some nitrous. Lot of options, it's never easy. You dont want to go one way and then later wish you hadn't.
