Nice. Ive heard thats the best one but it doesnt save as much weight as some of the others do cuz its more for like road racing. Idk how much truth there is in that tho.

QA1 makes a k member that's lighter than the MM piece. The MM part has more gusseting and I think it's made of a heavier material because it is designed more for general purpose use, including road coursing. The QA1 part is pretty made for drag racing so it doesn't need to provide the lateral load support that the MM does.

i was under the impression that ballin meant all the luxuries that you dont need. not the other way around where you took out all the luxuries that you take for granted.

To keep up with the theme of weight reduction i was curious if anyone tried or knew about this battery. I posted the link earlier on this thread but no one said anything about it. Here is the link to it to the thread where the guy claims saving 28lbs w. using the battery (scroll down a lil) 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club. Here is the link to the actual battery http://www.batterymart.com/p-odyssey...j-battery.html. Just curous about it, seems too good to be true.

ok so far... i have taken out 178lbs. i still havent ordered the k member but im gonna get that one for dragging that is listed above and i still have relocated my power steering and removed my a/c and got a new battery either.
oh, my friend has one of these in his little mini-skyline, and its very light. if i hadnt already gotten the optima, i would have bought that one. seeing as to how my battery is about to die, i think i might try this one, but only if i can find a good way to mount it.
Mount it in a battery box in the trunk.
