I recently puchased a set of lowing springs to get rid of that 4x4 look on my 02 gt vert. I am getting ready to install them myself and I wanted to make sure there wasn't any tricks or sugestions you might have for me... I have a pretty decent knowledge around a garage but I have never performed any spring work before. any sugestions?
Thanks,

Spring compressor would be very helpful. If u got that it shouldent be very hard.

I've never exactly put "new" springs in my car, but I cut the stock ones down to lower my ride, and I was pretty easy. Just a few key things to move out of the way, and I got them in and out in about an hour for all four. Since they were shorter then the were before, puting them in was a sinch, the only thing I have to worry about now, is getting new shocks, since they will be compressed alittle more.

I just put the Ebiach Pro Kit on my 2000 Mustang, you don't need a spring compresser, I used a small hand held one though to put the front springs in, if you don't its a bit of a tight squeeze you will need someone to hold down on the strut tower. Another thing these guides leave out is your going to need to change a rubber bumper above the pumpkin (will be in a bag with the ebiach kit, remove the plate the old one is on, there will be 3 bolts then pull it out put the new rubber bumper on, then put it back. you should have a mark where the old springs sat on the car put the isolators on and put the pigtails in the same place. The factory chamber plates should have a rivet in them so you won't have to worry about placing them. I gave my car two days to settle and took it to get aligned it was almost perfect the way i brought it there only the passanger side was off a bit. Also get a small hollow pipe to put the bottom of the wrench in,your going to need this for extra torque when taking the bolts off the brake calibers there really on there (the one closest to the spring) the pics of my car are old it has the stock springs on it i will post new here soon so you can see the difference.
