Default 1998 Mustang GT suspension questions

well first off went to the track and ran my car about 7 times and the very last time I raced a 95 GT with the 5.0 and I ran a 14.8 with stock gears (yeah had to represent the modular world) which before that I ran all low 15's....So the next day I put my 3.73's in and drove it around all day, and when I got to the track my first run was a 15.1 already faster than my average from the nite before and the next time I ran a 15.0
Already having clunking from my quad shock; it's just gotten worse since the track....
so my question being which systems has anybody had the best luck with or heard the best about at the cheaper end of the price line...
i've thought of converting to the cobra front end suspension and just redoing the whole rear-end

if you want drag suspension, you'll be hard pressed to beat this setup:

Fox Body 4cyl springs up front
removed front swaybar
Lakewood 90/10 struts
bullit rear springs
strange or qa1 adjustable rear shocks
sticky tires

I've pulled 1.5x 60's with that setup.

the cobra has 11.65" vented rotors vs the 10.5" solid rotors on the GT. aside from the bracket to hold the calipers in place, everything else is identical.
