Hello Riders,

I just found this forum and got me impatient to join and talk to other MUSTAGERS. I have a convertible 2001 Mustang GT (Silver color) and that too in Seattle Area where I cant open the roof for 5-6 months. But other 6-7 months are the happiest moment .

Recently, I found my AC or cooling mechanism is not working and only hot Air comes through the vents. Any idea on whats wrong?

Also if any body from Seattle \ Redmond area, drop me a line.

AC not working could be caused by a lot of things. Here's a page that explains the AC somewhat. My guess it's best left to a pro to check.

if it still blows out air, its just hot air, take it to an a/c shop and have them check the freon levels. it can be something as simple as it needing to be recharged, but it can something major as the compressor being dead. it shouldnt cost you too much to get it re-charged, so id recomend you do that part first.
