Question 1997 Mustang GT... 70mm throttle body question

I am about to do a PI Intake swap and since I have to remove everything I was thinking about replacing the throttle body with a 70mm. Is Professional products a reputable brand because I've seen them on ebay for $120 bucks all day long. Your opinions always mean a lot to me so be honest....I was debating on underdrive pulleys or a throttle body.....

PP has had quite a few problems with fitment of their parts. I'd go with AccuFab, C&L or FRPP.

dont worry about a TB right now... honestly really the only thing you will gain in throttle response. get the pulleys. and get steeda ones.

+1 the pulleys free up enough hp to feel, you will enjoy them more than the TB at this point.

You doing the PI cams at the same time? If not, I'd suggest doing it now.

Do underdrive pullys hurt anything other than your gas mileage? I read about someone's AC not working quite as well...I live in Vegas, it gets 115 out here, i need good AC! Thanks guys

i just installed pp tb and plenum. they parts require small adjustments to make them work. the braket that holds the trottle cable, the hole for the cable is too small so i had to dremmel it to make it bigger. before i did this it was idling at about 3k. PP probably flow as good as the rest of them, but they are a pain to install. i got a nice increase of high end power with these. mostly in 3rd and 4th gear.

I actually would go with the T.B even though I think you will gain more with the pulleys. Your doing the intake and anyways T.B is cheaper than the pulleys and easier to install. I have a Proffesional Products T.B on my stang. Yes the hole was smaller than the other T.Bs just like everyone says but just get a drill and make the hole a bit bigger and your all set. For the money you spend on any other T.B is worth buying the P.P T.B because you gain the same anyways.
