Default Transmission Type

Hello all, new here and I have a problem that I'm pretty sure has been addressed before. I own a 2001 gt mustang and I am trying to figure out the type of transmission that I have. The tag on my doorgives the code as the #6 I have been everywhere on the web and through these threads and have come close but have'nt gotten the answer. any help would be much appreciated.

if its a 5 spd i belive t3650

I keep getting that too but they have said in many of the other sites that the t3650 has a code K so this is why Im so confused

email your nearest ford dealer or somthing my buddies 01 gt 5spd has the t3650. im not sure man, welcome to the site hope you find out

So at the bottom right there is a 6 as the first number on the 5 digit ID... Looking that up on that page:

Five speed manual, T45OD
