Question 99 Cobra Rims on a 2003 Cobra. Will they fit?

Hi! I just joined! Hello to everyone @ AFM! Boy am I stoked! I bought my wife a 2003 Cobra Covertible (red) for her anniversary and it arrived monday. The problem is I live in Alaska and the thing is just about undriveable on icey roads with the stock tires. I had to have it hauled home on a car carrier. I want to put a set of Bridgestone Blizzack WS-50's on the car in 225/50/17. I am ordering a set from tirerack.com cause they also carry Cobra rims. I want to use the 99 Cobra rim it is a 17" x 8". Will this fit my 2003? tirerack wasn't sure and I didn't want to ship them and then find out they won't work. Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated. I have a hundred other questions but untill I get some decent winter tires on the car this is the one that matters most. It only has 4.8 miles on it! It is sitting in the garage and my wife is getting antsy to drive it! Thanks!

I don't see why they wouldn't fit

By the way... welcome to AFM!

So is it fair to say that all Cobra rims will fit all Cobra's or is that to much of a generalization...

I would venture to say that any 94 and up Mustang would be able to use the same wheels.
They all have the same chassis (SN-95) as far as I know.

I was more concerned about clearance with the brake rotors/calipers and changes in bolt patterns & offset messing me up. I went ahead and ordered them they are on the way, probly won't get here till teusday or wendsday... Damn! It's gonna be a looong weekend! By the way this is the first car I have owned in 20 years! Up til now I only owned trucks and Harleys. Thanks for the help!

No problem... the Stang is the first car I've ever owned. Used to have to try and borrow Mom's Contour.
