Default 2003 Mustang GT... awesome sound or about to blow up?

i have an 03 gt with bbk cold air intake and professional products upper plenum and throttle body. at partial throttle between 1400 and 3500rpms you can hear the intake sucking in the air pretty good, like a turbo sound, does anyone elses do that or do i have a massive hole somewhere in the piping? every other mustang i have ever been in has never sounded like this

I had a BBK CAI on my 01 v6 and it made a sound exactly like what you was describing. Well I found out about how bad the BBK CAI is and threw the OG air induction unit on and right then the noised went away. Weeks later I threw on a K&N CAI and the noise came right back ! took it to a performance shop and laughed and called me noob and told me it was normal for Cold air intakes to do that.

I have a PP 75mm throttle body and if I hit the gas I can hear the awesome sound of air getting sucked into the engine. It's normal.

All models do that sound, regardless of year. Even us Fox guys have it. It's normal for that noise with a CAI.

It's one of those sounds you either love or hate. But it is certainly normal.
