my boy has some magnaflows on his stock 5.0 and they sound nice. They sound quiet at idle but when you get on it it wakes up without being obnoxious. They expensive though but high quality. It's a shame they're under the car. I second that on the slp's bigbad5.0

I heard an SLP on the highway, the guy ran up on some traffic and had to get around, he hit it and talk about a sonic blast. Magnaflow is a good sound, and if you get that 1 chamber Flowmaster, it'll sound good too. You can also get a Dynomax Race Magnum if you want loud, but it and the 1 chamber will get you every badge's attention in the neighborhood.

What you do is go up to the top of the page, and type in what you want in that search box, it'll open up a new window/tab and bring it up for you. I found one for you, I can't tell if this is Flowmaster 1 chambers or SLP, they're very similiar.
I think the SPL system is about the nicest system out there. Slp is five minutes from my house and I never knew it until I read the address in a mag. anyway I went in there. everything is nice quality. Yes they are loud. If memory seves it is a straight through round style muffler which is loud, plus 3.5'' tips which are like echo tips. I have the Magnaflow system and it is pretty nice. It too is loud (3.5'' tips) even at idle, but I have headers and no cats. What I don't like is that the tips are held on with a tack welded clamp and they do not hold tightly. I will have to get the tips tack welded to the tailpipe. Both systems are stainless.
