just out of curiosity, what do you guys think about the cross/drilled rotors from Ebay they look nice and cheap from what ive seen $124 shipped, but will they perform good thats my question. I dont want to spend that money without knowing.
There is a thread in the road racing section about brake improvements that was started by imjrk. You might want to read it as they talk about some of the pros cons of different rotors and pads on the SN95.

I bought a set recently for my 1994 GT, not from ebay though.
They're made by a company called Roto-tech. They look good and they seem to be made very well and accurately but haven't had a chance to really try them out other than just going around the block on a nice day as the car is away for the winter.
They look very similar to the ones on ebay, I think mine were around $40 each though.
I can't see them really being junk, but I guess it depends on what you're using them for...
You'd want something better if you're planning on using your car on a road course or something or if you put a pile of miles on every week.
I went with the Roto-techs because my car is pretty much only to get me to work at back and a nice drive here and there on the weekend.
I didn't really get them for performance, just for the look because I needed new rotors.
I painted the calipers at the same time and they look a whole lot better than you'd expect considering what I paid for them.

They aren't for performance. On the contrary, performance goes in the toilet when you remove material and therefore reduce the mass of a rotor, which is exactly what drilling holes in them does.
I thought the theory with the holes and the slots was to give the brake dust a place to go when you brake. Now, admittedly there's not a whole lot of dust generated, but do the holes really reduce performance all that much?

I use my car only to go to school and gf but the car is not used that much I still dont use it to drag racing other than sometimes I step on it if a car wants to go on the street, I was going with looks and of course with performance ive seen some crap on Ebay but those Roto-Tech look nice I think ill give them a try, were did you get them for $40 FULLSCALE ?
With Roto-tech being out of Toronto it's pretty easy to get them up here. I've heard the Summit Extreme rotors are made by Roto-Tech but I'm not 100% sure on that. Their prices on them are a whole lot higher if they are. I got mine from a place here in Ontario called Auto Dynamics.
They don't have much of a website and I'm not too sure if they ship to the U.S. but here they are: Auto*Dynamics Inc. Home Page
If I remember right my fronts were $36.95 and rears were $42.95 CDN.
well i do need new rotors and im not gonna spend 1grand for some Baer or Wilwood brakes, if those on ebay or summit are cheap and look good as long as they perform just like the stock ones Im gonna get them. Thanks for the input guys!!!
i bought my crossdrilled and slotted rotors from ebay, and they work fine for me. i would get some harder brake bads though, the ones that cam with it arnt that great, but rotor work fine to me

Well from the research i have done on them over the past few years they are pretty good unless you buy the cheap ones for performance. Slotted rotors are good so are the drilled but the cheaper drilled have a bad habit of cracking if you drive and brake hard alot. But there still great for looks and better than stock no matter what. And i would say your car is not a all time road course car so driving on the street should work very well with no problems.
As for what FoxChassis said about not for performance lol. I doubt that seeings how that is pretty much what alot of "road race teams" use and alot of the cars that run the "24 hour lemans" so i can't see how they are no good for performance. I mean if you can drive a car that hard for 24 hours straight then to me that is performance.
