My original Marchal fog lights are no good. Does anyone have any suggestions on what else would like nice without breaking the bank? Do I go driving lights or fog lights? Or shopuld I just be patient and find nice originals?

if you can find originals; go back with them . the marchal fog lights are just too cool.
the decision between fog or driving lights would depend on what you're more interested in lighting up. what's right in front of you or what's further down the road. there are sooo many lighting choices today.

I just bought the car. The guy I bought it from told me they have power all the way to the light but that they dont light up. Maybe I should try to change one of the bulbs.

The inards of those lamps are quite delicate. Take them apart and inspect all connections, and the bulbs, thoroughly.

Do the simple things first, check the connections, then the bulbs. The Marchal lamps are really expensive if you replace them, so try to rejuvenate the ones you have now.
