Default stock headers vs after market headers

hi, i have a 88 mustang supercharger, with a lots of mods, well my question is;
is there a big difference if am using the stock headers with a modified car and them i switch to lets said bbk shorties 1 5/8 headers?

i know is not a big gain on hp, but you thing is a real important thing for a modified car?

The stock headers have kinks, dents, crimps, all to save time on the assembly line, and are a 1 1/2 inch diameter tubing. Stepping up to mandrel bent tubing in a 1 5/8 diameter will make a difference, even more so on a modified engine.
