Ok there is a kid that says that he has a 1969 454 dodge charger supercharged n wants to race. what kind of hp shoud he be poppin and how much would that car cost. I dont believe the kid but it a question that popped in my head. i dont know much about hp ups on Engine sizes.

Well if he even has the vehicle and engine combo he's saying, then there is possibility of some high HP and Torque numbers for sure. If its built right than he should have no problem leaving you like you were stopped. But if it's like your thinking, and he doesn't have what he says he has, than I wouldn't worry about it. For all you know he's lying and it has a tired ass 318 small block with open headers...

Can you stroke a 440 to a 454? Because a 454 is a Chevy motor and I don't know of too many mopar guys running chevy stuff. Based on that he might be full of BS.
However, if he's telling the truth he'll probably smoke you like Stalker said.

Yea he is 20 n just got it. I'm thinking that is more then a pricy car. more then $30,000 right? its a 69 that "might have a supercharger". I'm thinking very pricy. way to pricy for a 20y/o. lol. I might still race him for shitsngiggles. I really dont care if i lose lol. i like to feel the rush. ofcourse winning would be better but owell try to have fun is what i say. that and i only have like 250hp or something like that. i need to get dyno'd but no money. if i did i would rather get more parts then dyno it lol

If true, the big block alone would beat ya most likely, and if it's supercharged you'll definately lose! LoL but yeah a '69 charger is a pricy car with any engine, let alone a supercharged big block. But yeah race him and see what he's all about. I have a friend that tries to tell me he's got a '70 maro with a big block and he wants to race me, but I've known this guy for a couple of years and never seen his maro!

would be hard to get to 454...besides my 5.0 i'm more or less a mopar guy a 440 punched 60 over would be 452 with stock rotating assembly. I would also think that a stroked 440 would end up being a LOT more cubes than 454, and seriously...I wouldn't be caught DEAD with a chevy motor in ANY of my cars, ford or chrysler. If he does indeed own such a car, slap him in the face for being a blasphemer!

Thats more or less what I meant bored and/or stroked. a 440 BB Chrysler could be making a lot of cubes with no problem...
