whats the biggest cam u can out in a stock 302?

whats the biggest cam i could put in my 302 its just got k&n -headers-exhaust an pretty much freshly rebuilt?

I'd say the E303 at the most, considering it's mostly stock.

THE E CAM IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOU.

Stock 5.0L HO cam advertised specs are 266°/266° duration, 0.444"/0.444" lift

E cam specs 282° 282° duration, 0.498" 0.498" lift

With stock heads and intake, you will lose low and mid range power, along with some driveability. Stick with the stocker until you can do heads and an intake too.

I agree with 5speedgt on this. I think you would loose to much low end power with an E-303. It has a little to much duration for stock intake/heads. If you really want to do a cam...you could go with the B-303. IMHO..

90 5.0 LX 5spd, Mostly stock

When it comes to that stuff it is best to ask someone who does that for a living. I listened to someone once about the same thing you are wondering about. Guess what he knew nothing. And it ended up costing me a lot more money. Never again will I do that.
