Hello everyone. It's been a while since I was on the site. I got tired of
drooling over everyone's 5.0's and not having one of my own. Well,
finally after about 4 years of not having one, I have bought my 3rd 5.0 Mustang. It's a 1990 LX 25th edition. An LX Hatch is the LAST model
I ever wanted, but I found a deal I could'nt pass up. I know the car
very well. Bought it from a guy I have worked with for a few years.
I purchased it AS IS in my sig. I will post pics as soon as I clean it up.
And I'm sure I will have a bunch of Questions about how to improve the
very good base I have started with. I'm Hyped!

The LX hatch is my favorite model... to each his own I guess

The LX hatch is my least favorite model. Except for any vert. Got no love for convertibles. I'm partial to GT's and have started to take a liking to the notch. But, for $3000 as is, I couldn't pass it up. The paint is the worst part of the car, but from 10-20 ft. it looks just fine. Hey, I noticed your tire size do you have any rubbing issues in the front? The tires on my car are 225/60/16 in front and 235/60/16 in the rear and the front rub in certain situations. The guy I bought it from put the rims and tires on at the same time and didn't understand size ratio. He put 60 series tires on the 16's like were on the previous 15's. They look like Truck tires!

I have the same tire in the front but no issues with rubbing at all. I believe it has almost an inch of clearance left.
