That's right, I haven't had a shroud on my car for at least 15 years. It's been across America, driven 2200 miles from NC to Phoenix Arizona taking me to school and the 110 degree heat. It's no garage queen, it's out in the rain and snow (although not DRIVEN in the snow), and driven everyday. I do have a Central Coast Mustang aluminum radiator so it never overheated but in stop and go traffic during the summer the temp would creep up and go back down when I got to moving again.
Here's how it looked without one, and then after I put it in. I just didn't want the usual black plastic shroud, maybe that was part reason why I haven't had one in 15 years... But I think this one's gonna stay. Whatcha think of the white?
I'll have the larger versions of the pictures in my gallery so more detail can be seen, had to use the small ones to get them in this post.

Call me Mr Procrastinator... And the radiator is good, never had a leak or problem out of it. I started it up after it was done and the front end sounded different.

I like it! For some reason I've always liked the shroud on fox bodys. Makes it look finished or something, and of course there is the functional side to it.
I just mounted a Taurus fan in mine and I'm trying to decide whether to paint the shroud to match my exterior (Calypso Green).

just curious because I'm having a problem with this and I know its off topic sorry, I'm just wondering were you put your overflow tank? I don't have a shroud and done know where to put it, It came with some huge overflow tank that is placed right next to the CAI and looks tacky
I had to put mine inside the fender, the reason why I got rid of the other shroud was because the fan was eating on it, and it went so far I got rid of it and just never got another. I had to put the bottle somewhere. I got the Canton aluminum tank to go in it but... the lower hose pushes the shroud and everything over when the tank is bolted in so I have to make some brackets for it to reposition it. I'll get that done this week and add pictures of that later on.

Real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them!
1989 Mustang Lx 5.0. 5spd, 3:73's, Mac CAI, Timing 15*, Pro 5.0 short throw, 9mm spark plug wires, 245-45 r 17 cobra r's....really just begining.
Need to install. bbk long tube headers, bbk x pipe, ud pullies
I just finished the brackets for my new Canton overflow tank. I hand polished them and bolted everything on with stainless hardware. I made the brackets all by hand.
