I've got a 1983, so it probably won't be the same but might give you some ideas on what to look at. My top is hydraulically driven, so it has the following:
- A cylindrical electric pump mounted in the trunk/top well area.
- Two small sets of wires going to multi-plugs that connect up to the front (controls). This comes off the driver's side front, sort of near the edge, and heads over toward the driver's side.
- One ground wire that screws to the frame. In my installation, this wire is actually VERY tight but only runs for about a foot or so.
- One set of hoses that run off of a T on the side of the electric pump over to the cylinders on each side.
Again, I'm not sure of how the '94 convertibles work, but maybe that will give you some idea of what you might be looking at.
